Performance is what you notice.

is what made it work.

Partnership

is what made it work.

“Partnership” shows up on every About page and kickoff call—one of those words you start to read past, like “synergy” or “results-driven.” But like most clichés, it only feels tired until you experience the opposite: a team that’s not really listening, more focused on scope and internal process than real outcomes. No urgency, no curiosity, just polite disconnection. We built Theo to be lean, collaborative, and outcome-obsessed—because we’ve been on the other side, and we know what it feels like when partnership is missing, and what’s possible when it’s not.

Ok but, literally, who is "Theo"?

Theo was Vincent van Gogh’s brother—his patron, advocate, and the one who quietly held everything together while the art got made. We liked that idea: someone behind the scenes turning talent into something that lasts. So we borrowed the name.

Also, we were originally called Theorem. Then we got a cease and desist from another Theorem. So we dropped a few letters and called it a day.

Both stories are true. One just sounds more like brand strategy. Luckily for you, we are performance marketers. 😀

Our Values

Smart. Hungry. Humble.

This almost-alliteration isn't a mantra so much as a compass. We look for people who love the work and leave ego at the door. High output, low theater. (Monologuing is tolerated, but discouraged)

Have a Plan, but be Ready to Scrap It.

Planning is sacred. Plans are disposable. If the trends change, our plans may follow suit. In a world of AI personal shoppers, Ghiblified headshots, and shrinking attention spans, your agency should be reactive. There's a few line between adhering to your original strategy and procrastination.

Don't Let Process Kill Good Ideas.

If it’s smart, say it. If it’s broken, fix it. We don’t wait for permission to improve things—especially when the process is what’s in the way. Scope matters, but it doesn’t get the final word.

Never Assume, Always Test.

Evvverybody's got an opinion. Real-world data is often ugly and personally inconvenient to your cherished beliefs about how your customers view your brand. Which is exactly why we love it. Testing keeps us honest.
